AIMS

The project aims at developing critical thinking since it is meant to engage students in the learning process and in the decision-making process. The driving question is: “How to make my school a better place to learn?”
Students will be active, proactive and collaborative since the activities will be an opportunity to share opinions and exchange ideas among students (e.g. they are asked to search for information about their school systems as well as to evaluate it , they will prepare forms to gather info, they will analyze this info, they will offer creative solutions to problems). Besides in doing that they can be globally aware since they have to understand that there are different points of view to be taken into account and that they should be open to consider a variety of perspectives.

EXPECTED RESULTS

In answering their driving question -“How to make my school a better place to learn?”- students can be aware of the positive elements which characterize their learning environments and increase their motivation as well as offer their ideas to have a better school; in other words they can have an opportunity to make their voice heard and tell what’s working and what’s not in their education system. There will be a collaborative final digital output which will be used in the dissemination of the project.
